Fish hook

This fishhook is made of carved ivory with a copper hook, glass bead inlay eyes and 4 orange lures attached with sinew. It dates from 1912 and was collected by C.H. West, a Superintendent with the RCMP around Lesser Slave Lake and northward.

Evidence
As new materials were introduced through trade, they found their way into items manufactured by Inuit.
