Child sitting on a skin bag

Child sitting on a skin bag.

Evidence
Large skin bags would have been used to store furs and clothing that was not in immediate use. When traveling they would have carried smaller pieces that may become lost. Larger items such as beds and sleeping skins would simply have been rolled and carried or laid flat on the qamutik (sled) to cushion the load.
